Nike Member Product
To tell you the truth, writing for Member Product is my zone. I’ve written a half dozen Member Product app threads for 5 seasons. The goal is to write from a straight product writing foundation toward making it feel like these offerings tell a story, that they have a bigger meaning, and that it can be fun to shop as a Nike Member, all without taking ourselves too seriously. Because of the encouragement of my creative and writing directors, I feel confident in my ability to build fun narrative around product, especially with such amazing photography.
Member Product is the perfect form in which we can stretch our legs just a bit and see what this new membership voice can do. I’ve been able to develop a bit of a formula of call and response, little asides, puns, and theme building, all while touting the most impactful and useful parts of the product that a story can form around.
